Jobs in India

Ok .....My first post in this blog. I guess never before in the history of our country have we the youth of the nation seen so many jobs at our feet. Indian companies and MNCs are offerring obscene salaries to people.........the brain drain is finally stopping. The BPO/KPO boom is getting heavy foreign investments here........many foreign cos r setting up shop here. There are a number of job fairs taking place everyday with the top Indian / MNCs taking part in them for hiring people in posts ranging from a call center executive to financial head and from programmer to security admin. The line to get into the job fair is now larger than the line at the american embassy to get visas. There is an acute shortage of pilots to such an extent that airlines are hiring foreign pilots to fly. Courses that were once upon a time shunned by the general public are now being taken with greater interests because of the avenues of oppurtunities available. Around 6 or 7 years back it was a big thing getting a job of Rs.20000 a month at a company now it is within the reach of an average job seeker. The IT hubs that have been established at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune have all given boost to the job oppurtunity in a populous country like ours. Even tourist destinations like Goa are having industrial areas to provide jobs. More in my next post.....
